Hi, I'm Bree, a southern girl from North Carolina. I'm building my dream life in the NC woods and documenting every step of the way!

clearing the land
I bought a piece of land in the woods of North Carolina with nothing on it but trees and a good view. And now I'm building my dream barndominium there — and documenting the process. This is the record of that: the land prep, the setbacks, real life as it unfolds.
The land, the plans, and the build from the very first step.
Turning my grandmother's old trailer into a home for my daughter.
Skills I'm learning.
Solo hikes, quiet mornings, and time outdoors.
If you're enjoying the build and want to help fuel the next project, a coffee goes a long way — thank you!
